About Us
Khmer Food Co., Ltd is the creation of Oknha Kim Savuth, our director, since 1994. The company was first opened as a small rice merchant store serving only part of a small community in the West part of Phnom Penh. Today, Khmer Food emerges to be one of the largest rice suppliers in Phnom Penh.
Khmer Food supplies rice to every kind of buyers, from end-consumers to NGOs to EU market. We are always expanding our market and improving our work process to meet the highest customer satisfaction with our company.
In 2009, we constructed a new rice mill processing plant with Sortex technology in order to meet with increasing demand for rice exportation. Currently, we are exporting a variety of rice to EU countries. Interested clients can contact us and enquire more details of the types of rice they want to import.

History
1994: Opened as a small rice merchant
1997: Rice milling line constructed in Prey Veng
1998: Our director appointed as the head of the National Cambodian Rice Miller Association until 2008
1999: Registered as Khmer Food Co., Ltd.
2000: Shareholder of Sar Kong Co., Ltd. to supply rice to Cambodian Gov't nationally
2004: Became the leading rice supplier for WFP (Cambodia) to date
2005: Exported and exhibited rice in United States
2006: One of the biggest rice retailers and wholesalers in Cambodia
2009: Began exporting rice to European countries
2009: Completed modern rice reprocessing line to produce rice of export quality
2010: The #2 largest rice exporting company in Cambodia, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce
2011: Khmer Food becomes the biggest rice exporter in Cambodia from January to April.
