Khmer Food is the leading food supplier for World Food Programme, Cambodia since 2004.
As said, during the second quarter of 2010, Khmer Food was awarded three contracts consecutively by WFP to supply Sugar and White Rice.
The first contract consisted of 168 metric tons of Sugar and 1,926 metric tons of White Rice. The second contract was awarded to Khmer Food for a supply of 1,900 metric tons of White Rice. Finally, Khmer Food again was honored to supply a quantity of 741.50 metric tons White Rice to WFP.
The total quantity for rice supplied within second quarter of 2010 is 4567.50 metric tons, worths over USD1.5 million, and a quantity of 168 metric tons for sugar, worths about USD121,000.
